Burundikas adventures: unique venue for events and celebrations near Kaunas. Last week, we visited Burundikas adventures playground with our kids. It’s located in the village of Antakalnis (Kaišiadorys district), just about 20 minutes from Kaunas. This is truly a one-of-a-kind, family-created space for celebrations, birthdays, and events that completely enchanted our children.
The area is set in a peaceful and beautiful location. Here, you’ll meet the wonderful family of Darius, who created and maintains the space and runs fantastic event programs. In fact, Darius was inspired to create this place when his son was born, and he and his wife were looking for somewhere children could play safely in nature, without strangers around. They wanted parents to have a chance to relax outdoors, away from daily worries. Eventually, they decided to build such a place themselves. That’s how Burundikas adventures – this unique venue for events and celebrations near Kaunas – came to life. And why the name “Burundikas”? That’s the sweet nickname Darius and his wife gave their son.
What makes this place unique
This place is truly special because almost everything in the park has been handmade by Darius and his father. For example, you’ll find swings made from car seats, a net park built from fishing nets, and a car assembled from spare parts. We guarantee that all attractions and activities here will be new and exciting for children – no one will leave bored!
Parents can bring children aged 3 to 12 to enjoy the main Burundikas adventures playground, as long as they provide supervision. The playground consists of four towers, each offering different ways to climb, slide, and cross bridges or obstacles – making play even more fun. Moreover, if you book a program, Darius’s father leads children in engaging games and challenges.
There’s also a zipline, swings, climbing frames, a trampoline, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and football. Additionally, you can order an inflatable bouncer or a hot tub. If you book a special program, Darius’s father will lead an amazing hour-long adventure for children, with active games, treasure hunts, and more.
If the weather changes, you can move indoors. The indoor area is just as original, with a unique net park, plenty of games, and activities to keep everyone entertained, no matter the weather.
Practical information
Burundikas adventures features a spacious outdoor terrace (5×8 meters) for snacks and celebrations. It’s a cozy spot to relax, eat lunch, or grill sausages. If the weather turns bad, you can lower the tent sides for extra protection from rain or wind.
There is a convenient restroom with a changing table and warm water, so families with even the youngest children can visit comfortably. The playground can be rented for four hours, with two available time slots: 11:00–15:00 and 16:00–20:00. The four-hour rental costs just €150.
