The Eiffel Tower in Paris has long been considered one of the most visited landmarks in the world. However, in recent years it has been offering more than just breathtaking views. Visitors can now experience a new and unique attraction – a suspended adventure walkway that allows them to experience height in a completely different way.
Not Just the Views: An Extreme Attraction Opens at the Eiffel Tower. Vertigo of the Tower was created to offer visitors more than a traditional sightseeing experience. It provides an opportunity not only to admire Paris from above, but also to actively experience the height by taking on a unique challenge.

A walkway above the city
The new attraction, Vertigo of the Tower, is installed on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, approximately 60 meters above the ground. It is a special net bridge connecting two parts of the tower’s structure, with a length of about 40 meters.
Designed by the specialized company Arboricorde, this net walkway is the highest urban suspension bridge in France. Safely suspended with a system of cables and protected by multiple layers of netting made from more than 25,000 mesh panels, the structure allows visitors to literally walk above the void while enjoying spectacular views of the “Iron Lady” and the city of Paris.
A free challenge for visitors
This adventure walkway is designed for visitors of all ages. Children can also participate, but they must be accompanied by adults. However, the attraction is especially appealing to those who are not afraid of heights and are looking for a more thrilling experience.
The activity is free for all Eiffel Tower ticket holders, upon registration. Visitors can sign up on-site on the first floor by scanning a QR code located near the attraction and terrace. After selecting a time slot, trained staff welcome participants and invite them to enjoy this unique crossing.
The attraction is available for children from the age of 3 (children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult).
Online registration is done on-site via QR codes displayed next to the attraction and on the spring terrace.
Visitors can also choose the most suitable ticket for access to the Eiffel Tower, with various options available through partner platforms, including skip-the-line offers.
A temporary but popular initiative
It is important to note that this attraction is not permanent. It is organized for a limited period and is considered a temporary initiative. However, due to its popularity, it has been brought back for a second year in a row.
Dates and times: March 17 – May 3
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and during French school holidays: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
A new approach to tourism
The suspended walkway at the Eiffel Tower reflects a broader trend in tourism – the desire to offer visitors more engaging and immersive experiences. Instead of simply visiting a landmark, people are encouraged to participate, feel emotions, and challenge themselves.
The Eiffel Tower remains a historic and cultural symbol, while also adapting to modern visitor expectations. This new extreme attraction – the suspended adventure walkway – offers a completely new way to experience this iconic landmark.
