An autumn holiday with kids at Pakruojis Manor is sure to surprise you. Pakruojis Manor is the largest manor in Lithuania. Here, you can experience what life in a manor was like a hundred years ago. Visitors can meet 19th-century craftspeople and manor residents. They explain their traditional crafts and invite you to try them yourself. Another highlight is the spectacular autumn harvest festival, Baroque Autumn, held at the manor. If you want to explore everything at a relaxed pace, we highly recommend staying for at least one night, or even several.
The Miller’s House Hotel at Pakruojis Manor occupies a historic part of the estate. It preserves the authentic atmosphere of the old miller’s home, while offering cosy rooms for a comfortable stay. The hotel has 22 rooms of different types. Breakfast is already included in the accommodation price. The Palace Hotel, located inside the manor palace itself, offers a unique experience. You’ll be immersed in the atmosphere and luxury of the 19th century. Tickets to the festival taking place during your stay are also included in the accommodation price.
If you’re staying at the manor on a Saturday, don’t miss the all-inclusive manor-style grill feast at the Traktierius Restaurant. The grill feast at Pakruojis Manor is more than just dinner. It’s a food extravaganza where you can eat as much as you like for €29.

We have tried Grand SPA Lietuva in Druskininkai with both younger children and teenagers, and we can confidently recommend it. At Grand SPA Lietuva, you can combine accommodation, breakfast and dinner, a water park, saunas, sports, and spa treatments all in one place.
Older children especially enjoyed the Grand SPA Lietuva water area. It’s much more than an ordinary swimming pool. Instead, it’s a water park packed with attractions. You’ll find a long swimming pool, a wave pool, a lazy river, waterfalls, water slides, hot tubs, and a family slide.
At Grand SPA Lietuva, you can choose accommodation with breakfast. Some packages also include additional meals. Breakfast is served buffet-style, which is convenient when travelling with teenagers who have different tastes. Everyone can choose their favourite foods. We particularly liked the option to make fresh Lithuanian heart-shaped pancakes.
A children’s playroom is located on the first floor of Hotel Lietuva, next to the Lobby Bar. All younger hotel guests can use it free of charge. If you’re travelling with younger children and want even more activities, visit the O KAS ČIA? family entertainment park.

Our family enjoyed staying at Vienkiemis Holiday Complex in Kretinga District as an alternative to accommodation at the seaside. Imagine staying surrounded by nature while Palanga and other coastal destinations remain within easy reach. There’s also plenty to do nearby, so you can plan an entire weekend of activities. Vienkiemis is located in the valley of the Akmena River. You can stay overnight, enjoy a meal, relax in the saunas, and spend quality time with your children. The grounds are particularly enjoyable for families. There are several children’s play areas, and one of the most distinctive attractions for younger visitors is the Gnome Village.
If you want to stay active while also making time to relax, Vienkiemis offers several different sauna areas. You can choose from Lithuanian, Turkish, and Russian saunas. Some of the separate sauna areas also feature a hot tub. Another convenient feature when travelling with children is the on-site restaurant. The Vienkiemis Tavern focuses on traditional Samogitian cuisine.
There are several accommodation options to choose from, including rooms, apartments, and separate holiday cottages. The cottages are especially convenient for families because they offer more privacy, extra space, and the chance to relax peacefully in nature in the evening.
