We thought we knew the best places in nature for children’s parties, but recently we discovered a truly incredible spot. Miško Laja is a venue for birthdays and graduations that genuinely surprised us. We arrived expecting a cozy homestead for kids’ celebrations, but we left knowing we’d found a real gem we have to share with you. Every detail here is carefully planned – from spacious play areas and a variety of animals to cozy rest zones and maximum guest comfort. So, if you’re searching for a place for a children’s birthday, graduation, or any family event in nature, be sure to save this spot.

Miško Laja – new venue for birthdays and graduations where every detail is well thought out
As soon as you arrive at Miško Laja, the cozy atmosphere and tranquility catch your attention. The new venue, Miško Laja, for birthdays and graduations, is surrounded by beautiful nature in the Kaišiadorys district. That’s why it is easy to reach from Vilnius, Kaunas, or other nearby cities. It takes just an hour by car from Vilnius and even less from Kaunas. The homestead is ready for celebrations and events, both on sunny days and in unpredictable weather. If it rains, a spacious party house is available. The main house features a large, bright hall with tables and benches. It is perfect for both small and large birthday parties or graduations. We especially liked how they prepared for unexpected situations – if the weather isn’t great on the big day, kids have a huge play corner to enjoy indoors.
However, what impressed us most was not the building itself, but the attention to detail from the hosts. There’s a cozy space for feeding and changing babies, with toys in the changing room to help little ones feel at ease, and two types of soap in the bathroom – one for kids and one for adults. These may seem like small things, but they really show how much the hosts care about family comfort.
The hosts put a lot of thought into details. They greet every child with a beautifully displayed name and lovely decorations.
Huge play area for kids
As soon as you step out of the main house, you’ll see a massive outdoor space packed with activities for kids.
You’ll find a big playground, balance paths, and various games like ring toss. Children can run freely and explore the grounds. A bit further away, there’s a zipline, which is sure to be one of the day’s biggest adventures.
Nearby, there’s a fire pit with comfortable tables, so you can roast marshmallows or sausages and enjoy time together in nature.
We also liked that the whole area is very spacious. Kids don’t need to wait in line for a single attraction – everyone can find an activity they love.
More than just seeing animals
The biggest highlight of Miško Laja is its impressive territory with lots of animals.
Here, you’ll meet alpacas, ponies, Cameroon goats, geese, ostriches, and, in one of the largest enclosures, fallow deer. The grounds are tidy and beautiful, making it a pleasure to walk, watch, feed, and interact with the animals.
We loved that the animals aren’t just for show. Kids can get up close, feed them, and even walk into the enclosures.
Friendly prices for celebrations
Another thing worth mentioning is the price. These days, it’s not easy to find a place for a kids’ party or graduation that offers so many activities, such a large area, and a friendly price. Would you believe a three-hour party on a weekday costs just 70 euros, and only 100 euros on weekends?
But even more important than the price is the atmosphere. You can feel that this place is created with love. The hosts take great care of every detail, continuously improve the space, and sincerely strive to make every celebration held here truly special.
That’s why Miško Laja left such a warm impression. It’s not just a place to rent for a few hours. Here, kids can play freely, meet animals, explore nature, and make memories, while parents can relax and enjoy the celebration.
If you’re searching for a place for a child’s birthday, graduation, or another family event in nature, Miško Laja is a spot we highly recommend.
Be sure to follow Miško Laja on social media, as they sometimes announce open visitor days, when the area is open to everyone. It’s a great chance to get to know the place, interact with the animals, enjoy nature and peace, and let kids have fun.
