In fact, all it takes is a short walk to a new square or playground to turn an ordinary day into a fun adventure.

Pelesos Square
Address: At the intersection of Liepkalnio St. and Pelesos St.
After years of being overlooked, Pelesos Square has come back to life this summer. Today, it offers another space where families can exercise, play and relax.
The renewed Pelesos Square now features new play areas for young visitors. Older children should enjoy the playground built on a natural slope. It includes climbing routes and a slide more than 11 metres long.
Those who enjoy an active lifestyle can use the multifunctional outdoor fitness equipment or shoot hoops on the half basketball court.
The square also offers convenient rest areas with benches, loungers and picnic spots. At the same time, it gives both office workers and families a welcoming place to spend their free time.
Cyber City leisure area
Address: 32 Švitrigailos St., Vilnius
It may be hard to believe, but the site that once housed one of Lithuania’s best-known textile factories, “Sparta”, now forms part of the modern Cyber City district. The huge industrial area has changed beyond recognition. Modern offices, green spaces, squares and leisure areas now fill the former factory grounds. Everyone in the city can use these spaces.
This new free leisure area in Vilnius shows how old industrial spaces can, over time, gain a new purpose. As a result, it gives both office workers and families a welcoming place to spend their free time.
The district features wide pedestrian paths, plenty of benches, greenery, leisure areas, and art installations. You can take a short break here, meet friends, grab a coffee, or simply enjoy the modern architecture. The entire area welcomes visitors, so anyone can stop by at any time.
Our kids really like this place because they can relax in hammocks and run around. They also enjoy the impressive fountain with a crane.

St. Florian Square
Address: Naujamiestis, between Mortos and T. Ševčenkos streets
The square takes its name from St. Florian, the patron saint of firefighters. The Department of Fire and Rescue Services stands nearby, and this neighbourhood inspired the entire concept of the space.
This square stands out because it offers much more than a standard playground. The designers created a well-planned space for families. Kids can enjoy its unique play elements, while parents can appreciate the clear layout and safety.
The space also avoids the boring “same everywhere” approach. Here, children can climb and swing, but they can also explore and play across a large area.
We especially like the soft playground surface. It makes the area safe and comfortable even for younger children. The many benches around the playground also make it easy for parents to sit back and watch their kids play.
