Snow Arena is known worldwide as one of the largest and most advanced winter sports complexes in the Baltic countries. Opened in August 2011, it is the only entertainment space of this type operating year-round in Lithuania. Since its opening, the popularity of this place has only grown, because unfortunately natural snow in Lithuania is becoming a rarity.
Snow Arena operating in Druskininkai is the only place in Lithuania with indoor mountain skiing trails. Moreover, the snow on them is produced using extremely modern technology. It allows maintaining its high quality without any chemical additives. The complex consists of several trails. The main trail is about 460 meters long and 50 meters wide. Plus additional trails adapted for both beginner and advanced skiers and snowboarders.
Year-round operating Swiss lifts allow comfortable ascent to the start of the trails. Meanwhile, “Magic Carpet” type lifts suit children and beginners perfectly – those trying to ski or snowboard for the first time. The arena also operates professional equipment rental and instructor services, so even those who have never gone down snow can receive professional help and training.
Entertainment all year round
This space isn’t just a skiing place – it’s an extremely versatile winter entertainment area. There’s a “snow park” here, designed for snow sports tricks and leisure entertainment, while comfortable common areas allow rest after active time on the trails. Additionally, the complex offers extra entertainment, such as “snow tubing”. This is a fun snow slide with inflatable tubes that attracts families with children and everyone who wants to try something extraordinary. Furthermore, if you don’t ski but want to enter the snow zone, you can do that by booking the “snow tubing” activity. This is very convenient if you’re with small children who want to enter the snow zone.
The arena is an ideal place if you’re planning to travel to the mountains with children for skiing. Here children can try skis and snow for the first time and learn the basics of skiing.
