Druskininkai Water Park upgrades: we tried two new water slides over 200 meters long

Druskininkai Water Park has introduced new attractions for this season, and we tested them ourselves. The park now features two brand-new slides “Šėlsmas” and “Kruizas” each over 200 meters long. The familiar favorite “Sūkurys” has also received an upgrade.

We know Druskininkai Water Park well, so we focused on trying the new rides. Druskininkai Water Park upgrades: we tried two new water slides over 200 meters long. Both new slides are much longer than 200 meters. You ride down on tubes, racing through twists, turns, and sudden bursts of speed.

New 203-meter slide: “Šėlsmas” (“Frenzy”)

The first highlight is the vibrant “Šėlsmas,” which stretches 203 meters. The slide features two giant cone-shaped spirals and a speed section. You can ride with a single or double tube, making it fun for two.

“Šėlsmas” is rated Level II for difficulty and is open to visitors 12 and up.

Even longer: “Kruizas” (“Cruise”) at 210 meters

The second new slide, “Kruizas,” is even longer at 210 meters. Its nearly three-meter-wide chute and several cone-shaped spirals stand out. The interior simulates outer space, so the ride combines speed, turns, and visual effects.

You ride “Kruizas” with double- or even four-person tubes, so you can enjoy it with family or friends.

Officially, the slide is for guests 13 and up, but children as young as 8 can ride with an adult. Like “Šėlsmas,” “Kruizas” is rated Level II for difficulty.

The return of the upgraded “Sūkurys” (“Whirlpool”)

The changes don’t stop with new slides. After a recent update, the “Sūkurys” slide is back in action. This slide is different from the two new ones.

“Sūkurys” is much shorter at 40 meters, but the main feature awaits at the end. You speed into a giant whirlpool, spin around thanks to centrifugal force, and finally splash down into the pool. You ride without a tube.

The slide is for guests 13 and up, and the pool is 1.9 meters deep. The park recommends this attraction only for confident swimmers.

Not just new slides

Although the new slides are the main draw, Druskininkai Water Park still offers its classic water attractions.

“Azartas” (“Ardour”), a 107-meter slide, lets you ride without a tube. The calmer 80-meter “Srautas” is perfect for those new to bigger slides. Smaller children have their own slides, designed for their age.

The 30,000-square-meter park also features a wave pool, lazy river, children’s area, many swimming pools, and an adults-only sauna complex with 19 saunas. The park keeps the temperature tropical all year, so you can plan water fun no matter the weather.

Is it worth returning for the new slides?

If you have visited Druskininkai Water Park before, these new attractions give you a great reason to come back. The two new slides add more than 400 meters of new rides, not just a small update.

We loved that “Šėlsmas” and “Kruizas” are very different, and riding with tubes means you can enjoy them solo or together. Older children and teens now have even more options.

So if you are looking for ideas for a family day out this autumn rain or shine Druskininkai Water Park is ready with two new slides over 200 meters long and the upgraded “Sūkurys.”
