Halloween at Šarkos Park 2026 is a wonderful and incredibly cosy event. It will enchant both children and adults! Located just outside Vilnius, the forest has been transformed beyond recognition this autumn. It has become a fairytale kingdom of lights, colours and imagination. Here, you will discover spectacular light installations, mysterious fairy and gnome houses, a witch’s lair, a fortune teller, a ghost ship and many unexpected surprises. Best of all, you can experience the true magic of Halloween without frightening characters! However, the park also offers a forest trail full of spooky thrills for the bravest visitors.
A family-friendly Halloween at Šarkos Park 2026 is an excellent choice for families seeking something different from a traditional horror park. Instead, they can enjoy a cosy, magical setting filled with spectacular decorations. This year’s Halloween theme is Light in the Darkness. As dusk falls, the park comes alive with a dazzling variety of colours. You can explore original themed areas, enjoy the light displays, and choose your preferred Halloween experience. Whether you prefer a fun, completely non-scary adventure or genuine spooky thrills, there is something for you. That’s why Šarkos Park ( Magpie Park) is one of the most exciting places to visit with children this autumn.
Halloween illuminated by lights at Šarkos Park 2026
This year, Šarkos Park returns after a one-year break with an even brighter Halloween celebration. This is the park’s third Halloween event, built around the central theme of Light in the Darkness. The organisers deliberately avoid gruesome horror-film scenes and excessively gory decorations. Instead, they focus on creativity, lighting and family entertainment.
The park is divided into two distinct areas: the Light Zone and the Forest Zone. The Light Zone features themed spaces, games and magical decorations. Meanwhile, the Forest Zone offers a winding trail stretching 500 metres for the bravest visitors.
Halloween at Šarkos Park is much more than a walk among illuminated decorations. There are numerous original themed spaces to discover, making the experience enjoyable for both younger and older children.
The Light Zone features the Grand Playhouse, a mysterious Fortune Teller’s Room, the Fairy’s Beauty Fort, a Ghost-Captured Ship and Madame Witch’s House. One of this year’s new attractions is Fantasy Alley. It invites visitors to step into another extraordinary world of lights and decorations. Our children particularly enjoyed visiting the fortune teller and getting glowing tattoos.
The park also has a food area where visitors can buy snacks and warm non-alcoholic drinks.
An impressive 500-meter-long forest trail for the bravest
For those seeking more adventure, Šarkos Park offers a separate Forest Zone. It features a winding trail stretching 500 metres through the trees. Along the way, visitors encounter mysterious decorations and an atmosphere filled with spooky thrills.
However, it is important to know that visitors will not always encounter frightening characters in the forest. The organisers have divided the Halloween evenings into two categories: Scary Days and Not-So-Scary Days.
On Not-So-Scary Days, visitors can explore the forest trail without live scare actors. This is an excellent choice for families with younger children who want to enjoy the Halloween atmosphere without unexpected scares.
On Scary Days, live scare actors appear in the forest. They may suddenly emerge from the darkness and follow visitors along the trail. On these evenings, the forest trail is strictly not recommended for children aged six and under, pregnant women or people with heart conditions.
Nevertheless, the Light Zone remains family-friendly even on Scary Days.
Exceptional Halloween at Šarkos Park – handmade decorations and respect for nature
Another feature that sets Šarkos Park apart from other Halloween parks in Lithuania is its commitment to nature and sustainability.
Šarkos Park is an entertainment space created and maintained by the Sirusas family. The family makes many of the decorations and creates all the attractions by hand. In addition, the equipment is reused many times.
As a result, this destination is ideal for families who appreciate both beautiful surroundings and a responsible approach to nature.

What should you know before visiting Šarkos Park?
Šarkos Park is set in a natural environment. Therefore, we strongly recommend wearing comfortable, waterproof footwear. The park has no paved paths. In autumn, the grass and forest trails can become wet and slippery. We’ve experienced these conditions ourselves, so dress appropriately and wear suitable shoes.
Please also note that pets are not allowed in the park during Halloween events.
