What else to do in Warsaw with kids?

Actually, Warsaw is an amazing destination for families all year round. In fact, one of our “Traveling with Kids” founders, Agnė, visits Warsaw with her family regularly. “In fact, a trip to Warsaw with kids is a great choice for those who don’t want to travel far but are looking for fun, interesting places, and shopping,” says Agnė.

Whether you’re looking for adventure, culture, or relaxation, Warsaw has something for everyone. For example, families who love water attractions can visit Suntago, the largest water park in Europe, located just outside the city. Meanwhile, science lovers can spend a day at the impressive Copernicus Science Centre. In addition, foodies will love Warsaw’s surprising gastronomy, cafes, and restaurants. If you prefer long walks in the Old Town or time in nature, you’ll find plenty to do. And, of course, shoppers won’t be disappointed.

That’s why Agnė and her family visit Warsaw several times a year and share their recommendations, favorite places, cafes, and best shops in the article “Warsaw with children.”

Where to stay in Warsaw with kids

Actually, Warsaw is one of our favorite destinations – we sometimes visit four or five times a year. We always go for Christmas, often visit Suntago Water Park or Majaland, the year-round indoor amusement park. Sometimes, however, we go to relax, explore the city, and have fun.

We often fly from Warsaw Airport or stop in Warsaw on the way back from a European road trip. As a result, we have tried a wide range of accommodations in Warsaw – from luxury SPA hotels and international chains to budget apartments and economy hotels.

If you’re traveling to Warsaw, don’t miss our guide to the best hotels and apartments – “Warsaw with kids: best hotels.”

Where to eat well in Warsaw

In fact, the Polish capital offers plenty of places for affordable, delicious food. However, one place stands out as our family favorite: Fabryka Norblina. In fact, every time we visit Warsaw, we make sure to stop here. It’s the city’s most modern venue, featuring an impressive food market, cafes, restaurants, shops, a museum, and much more – all in one place. As a result, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to, and we happily recommend it to everyone visiting Warsaw.

Of course, the food market is the main attraction, but there are also plenty of restaurants and cafes, so every family member can find something they’ll enjoy. That’s why it’s such a great choice for traveling with kids – there’s no need to compromise because everyone has plenty of options. Whether you’re craving pizza, burgers, international cuisine, or a quick snack, you’ll find it here. What’s more, the entire market has a fantastic atmosphere, with cafes and tables set along the old factory railway tracks and surrounded by stylish industrial architecture. Best of all, the food is genuinely delicious, and the prices are very reasonable

Shopping in Warsaw: stores and outlets

Indeed, Warsaw is a real paradise for shopping and malls. In fact, about twenty years ago, when the selection in Lithuanian stores was limited, we used to shop in Warsaw. Today, although many international brands are available in Lithuania, Warsaw still offers an impressive number of shopping malls. Moreover, shopping is cheaper in Poland than in Lithuania. Even when you find the same stores and products, prices in Poland are often lower. While the difference may sometimes be small, it quickly adds up if you’re buying several items.

If you’re planning a shopping trip, be sure to read our full guide: Shopping in Warsaw: stores and outlets.

Not only in Warsaw but throughout Poland, there’s a huge selection of impressive museums and innovative science centers that will appeal to both kids and the whole family.
