Our impressions and recommendations
Currently, Forelle offers not only Klaipėda Port tours but also trips to Juodkrantė, Nida, Uostadvaris, and Mingė Village (the “Lithuanian Venice”). Whether you’re relaxing in the cabin or on the open deck, you can sip coffee and admire the views of the Curonian Spit National Park. There’s also a bar on board.
Our first Forelle trip was at the start of summer, when we sailed from Klaipėda to Juodkrantė and the Dead Dunes. We enjoyed it so much that this time, we chose the extended Klaipėda Port tour and brought the grandparents along. Both kids and adults found the experience truly interesting.

The boat is very comfortable and does not rock while sailing, which is especially important with kids. There are enclosed decks if you feel safer inside, plus a toilet, spaces to shelter from the wind, and a bar.
The boat sails every day, departing at 18:30 from the Cruise Ship Terminal by the Danė River. Tickets are available on-site or conveniently in advance on the Forelle website.

The Forelle was built in Germany in 1934. This boat has its own story and authentic charm, which you’ll feel as soon as you step onboard.
