In fact, after spending just a few minutes here, it’s hard to believe such a place exists in Lithuania. After our stay at Perlytė homestead, we can confidently say – this glamping by Lake Dusia has become one of our top discoveries in Lithuania this year. Glamping by Lake Dusia: exceptional family getaway
Glamping by Lake Dusia is much more than just another lakeside campsite. It’s a unique spot for families, where every detail is thought out to perfection. As soon as you arrive, you feel like you’ve found a little piece of paradise – no rush, no noise, no crowded beaches. Instead, you’re greeted by a meticulously maintained environment, beautiful nature, and the calm of Lake Dusia. Best of all, you share this beauty with just a handful of families. The hosts have placed only four glamping tents, one larger cabin, and a few spots for private tents – ensuring you can truly enjoy peace and outstanding relaxation.
Over the years, we’ve visited hundreds of places in Lithuania and abroad, but only a handful can compare to this. Children will immediately discover playgrounds, swings, spaces for games and adventures, and a safe, shallow area for swimming in Lake Dusia – often called the “Sea of Dzūkija.” Meanwhile, adults find the peace and stillness that’s so often missing in daily life.
Themed glamping tents for families
The highlight that absolutely captivated our kids was the four themed glamping tents right on the lakeshore. Each tent is designed to provide comfort even for longer holidays. Every tent has its own theme and unique decor – summer, sea, little witches, and gnomes.
Inside, you’ll find a double bed for parents and two singles for children. The atmosphere is cozy, bright, and impeccably clean – more like a boutique getaway in the heart of nature.
A huge advantage is comfort in all weather. Each tent has fans for hot summer days and heaters for cooler evenings, so your stay will be pleasant not only in mid-summer. There’s also electricity and lighting. Details like crisp bed linens with the homestead logo and soft towels truly make this place special.
Privacy is another big plus: each tent has its own space, and one even has a hot tub overlooking the lake.
Comfort in nature, no compromises
Although this is glamping, you won’t miss any comforts. Each tent has a private toilet with running water and a sink, plus there’s an outdoor shower to refresh yourself after a swim or an active day in nature.
Guests also have access to an outdoor kitchenette with a stove and kettle. You should bring your own dishes, so keep that in mind before you arrive.
Everything here is not only practical but also aesthetically pleasing. You can feel the love and care in every detail. The owner personally looks after the homestead every day, and it shows in the tidiness and cozy atmosphere.
