Vichy water park with children
Vichy water park with children – our family adventures and what is worth knowing before visiting with the family. Since the weather is definitely not spoiling us, and it seems that we will still have to wait for warm days, we looked for something fun to do indoors. Last weekend we decided to surprise the kids with truly warm activities. It was also a nice way to remember our travels in Thailand. Since we didn’t want to go far – we planned a trip to Vichy Water Park in Vilnius. Even though we live in Vilnius, it had been a very long time since we last visited Vichy Water Park, the last time being six years ago.
However, after visiting, we understood that we actually made a mistake by not coming for such a long time, because the water park truly exceeded our expectations. So if you are looking for where to take children in Vilnius, what fun indoor family activities there are, or where to find water fun in any weather – Vichy Water Park is definitely worth attention.

Vichy water park with children – what is worth knowing before visiting with the family
As soon as you step inside, you are greeted by a tropical atmosphere. The park’s interior is created in Polynesian island style. After getting changed and going up to the entertainment zone, the kids instantly ran to the children’s area where a warm shallow pool with slides and other activities awaited them. It’s very nice that this zone is safe, adapted for little ones, the water temperature is truly warm, and a lifeguard is nearby.

What surprised and delighted us the most is that both the air temperature and the water in the pools are really warm. After the children’s zone, we all went to the large wave pool and the river with water tubes.
However, the most awaited part of Vichy was not the pools, but the water slides. Vichy Water Park has 9 of the most modern attractions in the Baltic region, including “Maorių klyksmas” – operating on the principle of a pendulum and allowing you to experience a feeling of weightlessness. This attraction is the largest among indoor water parks in the world. It has strict height and age restrictions, so you will be able to try it with older children.

For Motiejus, the most impressive part for kids was the slide tower, especially “Ohana River” and “Black Pearl”. Believe us, there was enough adrenaline for the whole weekend. It’s very nice that there are larger inflatables on which you can slide together with two older kids.
We really liked that at the bottom, near the slide exit, there is a warm jacuzzi from which we could happily watch Motiejus and dad coming down the slides.

Sauna zones at Vichy Water Park
On the first floor, there is an open sauna zone with 2 saunas. Anyone can visit these saunas, even park visitors younger than 18 years old.
If you are visiting without kids, you will really like the sauna area located on the third floor of the park. It offers ten different types of saunas where you can experience the full variety of the Polynesian climate. Those who heat up can relax in the “Tropical Rain” showers with color and scent effects.
