We have already had the chance to visit several wonderful thermal pools in Poland. However, we know that this country has many more great places. Since we travel with children, we always look for new relaxation and entertainment options that are comfortable for both us and the kids. Therefore, in this article about thermal pools in Poland, we want to share not only our experience but also new discoveries.

Terma Bania

Terma Bania is a modern thermal pool complex located in the town of Białka Tatrzańska, about 22 km from Zakopane. This water park offers many entertainment and relaxation options for the whole family. We highly recommend visiting it when traveling to Zakopane or the Tatra Mountains.

The water park is located in a truly beautiful place at the foot of the mountains. While swimming in the pools, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains. Meanwhile, ski lifts move above the pools.

Termy Maltańskie

We visited the Termy Maltańskie water park in Poznań during summer and we loved it. Outside, there are many pools, water slides and attractions. However, the park is also perfect for visiting in winter because there are many indoor spaces and activities.

The water park offers numerous slides. Some are simple and suitable for children, while others are more extreme and designed for adrenaline lovers.

Termy Poddębice

Therme Poddębice spa pools near Łódź are a great place to visit with children. It is a fun destination during holidays. In addition, it works well as a stop when traveling by car through Europe or returning to Lithuania.

Therme Poddębice spa pools form a leisure complex that uses natural geothermal water. We especially liked that the water in both outdoor and indoor pools is very warm. Because of this, it is perfect for visiting with small children.

The entire complex includes seven outdoor and indoor pools. Together they cover an area of about 2,300 square meters.

We also liked that there are many outdoor attractions and pools for children. Therefore, the complex is especially suitable for the youngest visitors. There are small slides and water toys.

Termy Poddębice also has sauna and SPA zones. There are many sun loungers, and the environment is very clean. We spent almost four hours here, and both the children and we really enjoyed it.

Chochołowskie Termy

Chochołowskie Termy is one of the largest thermal pool complexes in Poland. It is located near Zakopane. This complex is known for its impressive size, modern infrastructure and highly mineralized water.

Here visitors will find pools of different depths and temperatures. There are also whirlpools, saunas and salt rooms. Chochołowskie Termy is suitable both for quiet relaxation and for active water fun. Families with children can enjoy water slides, while adults can relax in wellness areas.

The complex includes:

  • Multi-level pool zones with attractions such as artificial waves, water currents, basketball, volleyball and slides
  • Indoor thermal pools
  • A large whirlpool pool
  • Children’s zone and baby zone

Termy Mszczonów

This thermal pool complex is located near Warsaw. It stands out because of naturally warm geothermal water that comes from more than 1,600 meters underground. The water temperature reaches about 26–34 °C.

Termy Mszczonów thermal pools are popular because of the cozy atmosphere and peaceful environment. There are usually fewer tourists here, so it is a great place for people who want to relax.

The complex consists of five pools:

  • Two thermal pools open all year round
  • A relaxation pool
  • A sports pool
  • A children’s pool

Visitors will also find water slides, saunas, a salt room, beach volleyball courts, a children’s playground and many other attractions.

Termy Bukovina

Termy Bukovina is one of the most modern thermal pool complexes in Europe. It is located near the Tatra National Park. The complex offers both relaxation and swimming pools, indoors and outdoors.

Surrounded by nature and peaceful landscapes, visitors can enjoy the calming properties of thermal water. The water temperature ranges from 30 to 38 °C.

The complex offers many wellness treatments. There are numerous saunas and steam baths, excellent whirlpools and impressive water slides.

Pool Night parties are also organized regularly. During these events visitors can enjoy water attractions with music, famous DJs and well-known performers.

This is one of the most popular places in the Tatra region. Therefore, both holidaymakers and active travelers often choose it.

Termy Uniejów

Termy Uniejów is the first thermal pool complex in Poland that uses naturally warm geothermal water. This complex is known for its outdoor pools, where visitors can swim even in winter, as well as for its well-developed leisure infrastructure. The water here reaches about 36°C and is enriched with minerals that help relax the body and support health. In addition, Termy Uniejów is located in a picturesque area near a castle, so visitors can enjoy not only water attractions but also a pleasant environment.

The indoor pool area offers a pirate ship pool, a salt graduation tower and a salt bath. Outdoor pools provide various attractions such as a large salt bath pool, a children’s pool, a swimming pool, a small salt pool, a water bar with a bay, a fast river, a relaxation terrace, an island with a whirlpool, slides, the “Banana” relaxation pool and a rowing zone with a children’s castle.

The sauna zone includes eight different areas, from infrared cabins to an aromatic bath, a Turkish bath and even a snow room. In the SPA and relaxation area visitors can enjoy massages.

Various attractions are available for children and visitors looking for interesting leisure activities. Bowling lanes, the castle park, a rope park, a football field complex, the Gniezno Archbishops’ Castle, rowing trips on the Warta River, the Owl Discovery imagination and activity zone, paintball and tennis courts.

Termy Szaflary

This thermal pool complex offers four pools with different temperatures. The mineralized water is taken from almost three kilometers underground.

Termy Szaflary is a great place for visitors who want to enjoy warm water and relax in saunas. The pools are designed for both relaxation and entertainment.

Children have their own smaller zones, while adults can try massage fountains. Guests looking for more active attractions can also enjoy a slide that is more than 55 meters long.

The complex includes:

Termy Szaflary offers four pools in total: two outdoor pools and two indoor pools. There is also a three-lane family slide and a small pool with a children’s slide.

The pools include many hydromassage devices such as water jets, massage benches and equipment for neck and shoulder massage.

Children can enjoy a small pool with a slide. In summer a children’s bay with animators is also open.

During summer visitors can try aqua zorbing and enjoy boats.

The complex also includes a SPA and sauna relaxation zone where visitors can relax in infrared cabins, aromatic baths, saunas and Turkish baths.

Termy Gorący Potok

This is a unique thermal pool complex that uses natural geothermal water without chemical treatment. Termy Gorący Potok stands out not only because of warm pools but also because of additional attractions.

Visitors can enjoy mud baths, massage zones and even small waterfalls. The complex is located in beautiful natural surroundings. Therefore, guests can enjoy both water treatments and a peaceful landscape.

Gorący Potok offers a unique zone with 21 pools where visitors can enjoy many water attractions such as fountains, water massages, geysers, slides, a rope park and special play areas for children.

The pools are filled with healing sulfur water with temperatures from 34 to 40 °C. Because of this, guests can relax here even during winter.

For visitors who prefer quiet relaxation, there is a SPA zone with unique baths that contain high concentrations of sulfur water. Guests can also enjoy mud baths, massages and beauty treatments.

There is also the Beef Master restaurant where visitors can enjoy beef steaks.

The Gorący Potok thermal pool complex includes outdoor pools filled with geothermal water with temperatures between 34 and 40 °C. In total there are 21 pools, and nine of them are located outdoors:

Termy Warmińskie

Termy Warmińskie is the first thermal resort in northern Poland. It is located in the town of Lidzbark Warmiński.

These thermal pools offer several pools filled with mineral water that has positive effects on the skin and joints.

Termy Warmińskie stands out because of its calm atmosphere and spacious pool areas. Visitors can enjoy both indoor and outdoor pools.

People who prefer more active relaxation can try water massage currents or water workouts.

For parents with small children this is a great place. There is a small children’s pool with a slide. Meanwhile, parents and older children can try a large slide that offers more adrenaline.

The resort is unique because it combines high hotel service standards with a wide SPA offer. Therefore, it is suitable both for active visitors and for those who want to relax and escape daily routine.

Besides the pool zone, Termy Warmińskie also offers SPA and wellness services. The treatments use natural ingredients such as healing mud and thermal water.

For longer stays visitors can also book accommodation. There are standard, premium and deluxe rooms as well as exclusive two-level “Golden” apartments with elegant interiors.

Termy Warmińskie also has a restaurant that offers seasonal dishes made from local products. In addition, the resort organizes events such as bachelorette parties and birthdays.
