TARZANIJA adventure park: an adrenaline and entertainment oasis for families near Alytus. The adventure and entertainment park TARZANIJA is one of the largest entertainment parks in the Baltic states. It is located in the magical Nemunas valley, near Alytus. Here you will find not only adrenaline, but also a great time in nature. In addition, the park offers unique courses for both children and adults.
The park features tree climbing courses of different difficulty levels, zip-line flights across the Nemunas river, slides, mini golf and many other activities. Therefore, TARZANIJA is ideal for family entertainment, school trips, birthday celebrations, camps or even company events.
We spent almost the entire day at TARZANIJA adventure park with our family. First, we had lunch at the Dzūkijos dvaras restaurant and tasted traditional Dzūkija potato bands. Afterwards we enjoyed the attractions, had ice cream and spent a wonderful time in nature. The park is located in an incredibly beautiful place, so spending time here feels especially pleasant.
Adventure and entertainment park TARZANIJA
At TARZANIJA amusement park you will find many activities for children and adults of different ages. Therefore the park is truly versatile and every family member will find something to enjoy. The adventure and entertainment park TARZANIJA is a very large complex. Here you will find not only attractions but also an excellent hotel-restaurant called “Dzūkijos dvaras”. In addition, various educational programs take place here.

Climbing courses and flight over the Nemunas
Tarzanija offers an exciting attraction: six tree climbing courses of different difficulty levels and an impressive flight over the Nemunas river. We have visited many adventure parks both in Lithuania and abroad. However, we have never seen such a beautiful and colorful park before. The courses designed for the youngest children are especially beautiful and truly original. Our two-year-old Paulė happily completed them with our help.
Visitors can choose the courses according to difficulty. However, you can also challenge yourself and complete them all. Trees are connected with small bridges, and you will also find hanging nets, moving logs, cables and other obstacles. These elements test both strength and cleverness.
The flight across the largest river in Lithuania – the Nemunas – stretches for as much as 800 meters. It is pure adrenaline. During the ride you will see breathtaking views and experience impressive height. Here courage matters more than physical endurance. However, it is important to mention that visitors must weigh at least 50 kilograms to try this attraction.
Wild slides and racing slides
The “Wild” slides are the only attraction operating all year round. Visitors can slide down three tracks with different speeds. The Curved track is the easiest one. Therefore it is perfect for the youngest adventure lovers. The Fast track requires more courage. We tried these two tracks together with the children and they loved them. Unfortunately, Motiejus could not try the Jump track. It is the fastest and most impressive slide. This track includes a free-fall ramp that lands on a large air cushion. However, visitors must weigh at least 50 kilograms to slide on it.
You will also find three fun racing tracks with small cars. These tracks bring joy to both children and adults. Both kids and adults can ride the cars. Therefore it is a perfect place for friendly races.
Mini golf and climbing maze
Here you will also find an 18-hole mini golf course. This activity suits both the youngest and the oldest visitors. However, our family spent the most time in the net maze. It was incredibly fun and interesting for both of us as parents and for our two children.
Educational programs
Educational programs are designed for both children and adults. During these activities participants not only have fun but also learn useful information. Therefore these programs are perfect for birthday celebrations, school classes, family gatherings or time with friends.
Educational programs for groups from 15 people:
- Educational program “Make your own kibinai” (recommended for grades 4 to 12). During this program you will learn about the history of kibinai and their unique features. You will also learn how to prepare and shape kibinai using a special traditional heritage recipe. After the activity you will taste the freshly baked kibinai you made yourself together with hot broth.
- Educational program “Pizza baking” (recommended for grades 4 to 12). During this program participants learn about the history of pizza and interesting facts about it. During the activity you will prepare the pizza base with your own hands. You will also choose and combine toppings according to your taste. Afterwards you will enjoy the freshly baked pizza.
- Educational program “Bread candy making” (recommended from preschool to grade 4). During this program children learn about the history of bread, its production methods and its benefits. Participants will prepare bread candies with different flavors. While tasting them, children will guess which flavor they are trying.
- For adults there is the educational program “Dzūkija potato bands education”. During this activity participants learn about the old traditions of baking bands. They will also get to know the preparation process and taste this authentic dish from the Dzūkija region.
