What will you see and experience in the museum?
Interactive exhibitions allow visitors to learn science through real-life experiences. In total, more than 100 experiments help explain how the universe, nature, and everyday life work.
In addition, the museum offers many exhibits and activities. We have also visited the Illusions Museum in Santa Cruz, and therefore some exhibits here felt quite similar.
Moreover, there is a dedicated space for the youngest visitors. Also, the micro cosmos area allows small children to play safely and take a break from sensory overload.
As a result, children will easily find activities for a couple of hours. Furthermore, if you attend a planetarium show, you can plan to stay even longer.
Useful tips for visitors
Visit on Friday or Saturday late in the afternoon to enjoy free admission.
If you plan to attend the planetarium, make sure to buy tickets for the show at the ticket desk. The price is only 1 EUR.
Choose the events program: the museum regularly hosts astronomy evenings, educational activities, or exhibitions – check the official program before your visit.
Plan your visit to combine it with a walk through the nearby UNESCO-listed old town of La Laguna. This way, you can enjoy a perfect cultural day with your family.
