Royal Horse Resort history: from a dream to an exceptional leisure destination
The journey through the authentic homestead, nurtured by five generations, begins with gates that greet guests and resemble medieval times. Their surface was created by the famous artist Stasys Žirgulis, expressing the impression of a bridge opening before entering a fortress. The gates are protected – this is symbolized by wolves placed on both sides of the supports.
Just behind the gates, surrounded by impressive nature, forests and the Nemunas River, a majestic oak grows, and under its shelter stand nine semi-circular carved armchairs, symbolizing the nine brothers and sisters who grew up in the family. Closed like shelters, majestic like the Middle Ages, they allow you to feel safe when sitting in them.
Like a family heritage, next to the oak stands the restored family house, which became the beginning of all creativity.
When the desire arose to open the space for guests, lakes appeared in the former swampy areas, along with flower gardens and plant landscapes. The ideas were born synergistically – architects, as sustainable planning specialists, guided by the artistic ideas of exceptional personalities, implemented the concept by creating an authentic environment. In the family farm, alongside cattle, the first alpaca families settled. Tautvydas Barštys, constantly accompanied in life by sports and love for horses, encouraged the creation of the horse stable.
It was designed to be innovative, remarkable not only for its exceptional architecture but also for its great beauty. Every piece of land in the homestead is nurtured, here you will find plenty of artworks, and bird sculptures symbolizing care and safety allow you to feel freedom and space.

Motiejus loves riding very much, so we have visited many horse stables in Lithuania and neighboring countries. But we have never seen such a beautiful horse stable anywhere else. Even walking around such an impressive and beautiful horse stable is a unique experience. To begin with, the territory includes sports fields, tennis and padel courts, a wake park, a basketball court, and cycling and walking paths. In addition, you can book various educational activities in the horse stable or with other animals.
Our children really enjoyed feeding the alpacas and baby goats.
Motiejus loved the Royal Horse Resort wake park. Since he is still learning and discovering this sport, he especially liked the friendly, very helpful and attentive young man working at the wake park. So if your children dream of trying this sport, we highly recommend visiting here. It is very convenient that the park has comfortable changing cabins with warm showers and all necessary infrastructure.
