Poland surprises again: an impressive 360° viewing platform with a glass “skywalk” opened in Krynica-Zdrój in the Beskids

A year ago, we shared the 2025 news from Poland, and this year we want to share another incredible update. In Krynica-Zdrój in the Beskids, on Góra Parkowa hill, a new modern 360° viewing platform with a glass “skywalk” has opened. People already consider it one of the most impressive places of its kind in the region.

If you have already heard about Sky Walk Poronin, which attracted huge interest last year, this new impressive viewing platform in Krynica-Zdrój in the Beskids truly does not fall behind this place. Here awaits not only views, but also the experience itself – a 360° panorama, glass structures and a breathtaking moment when you look… down! Also, include in your travel plans in Poland in 2026 a completely new futuristic amusement park “Querion”, which plans to open its doors to visitors already this summer.

The new viewing platform stands on Góra Parkowa hill, which is one of the most popular spots in this resort. It is a modern 36-meter-high structure with a 360° viewing terrace. You can enjoy the views here all year round, both in winter and in summer. From the top, you will see the town of Krynica-Zdrój and the Beskid mountains. In good weather, you can even spot the Tatras. The views are truly impressive.

Glass “skywalk” experience

The biggest highlight is the glass platform extending out from the tower. When you step onto it, only transparent glass and height remain beneath your feet. If you are a little afraid of heights, this is a great place to test yourself. You might even surprise yourself. However, if you enjoy adrenaline, this is another experience to add to your list.

At one time, up to 5 people can stand on the “skywalk” platform. Therefore, the experience remains safe and well controlled.

Convenient for families

The entire infrastructure has been designed to suit different visitors. You can reach the tower not only by stairs but also by elevator. So, it is convenient for families with children or older family members.

Although you cannot access the outer terrace with a stroller, there is a place inside where you can leave it. It may seem like a small detail. However, these thoughtful solutions encourage families with young children to travel more often. We travel quite a lot with children, both in Lithuania and abroad. Therefore, we always pay attention to places where everything is designed to make things easier for families.

Tickets and important information

It is important to know that tickets are sold on-site, at the upper funicular station. You can reach Góra Parkowa hill either by funicular or on foot. You can visit the viewing tower during the opening hours of the PKL tourism center. Prices are quite affordable. A ticket for adults costs about 15 PLN, while a discounted ticket costs about 10 PLN. That is roughly 3–4 EUR.

Also, note that the tower closes slightly earlier than the lift stops operating. The number of visitors at one time is limited. Therefore, sometimes you may need to wait a little.

Not just a tower – a full day in the mountains

This place is not only a viewing platform. On Góra Parkowa hill, a whole area is being developed where you can spend more than an hour.

Here, you will find walking paths and the “Polana Muzyki i Światła” zone with light installations and evening illuminations. There are also cafés, restaurants, and areas adapted for families with children. In addition, there are downhill tracks for more active entertainment.

The entire area follows a clear idea. Through the “Wehikuł Czasu” project, visitors learn about the 1930s period, when Krynica experienced its greatest growth.
