This year while travelling in Lithuania we discovered wonderful places – incredibly interesting, fun and truly unique. However, the most interesting thing is that all these places have several similarities – they are located in small Lithuanian towns and they were created by incredibly wonderful and charismatic people. With their energy and ideas they created magical spaces where, once you have been, you want to return again and again. One of such places is the Monart studio: a unique space for educational activities, events and rest in Taujėnai Manor. Having visited here quite accidentally, we were so impressed by this place and by the founder of this place Monika that we definitely want to share this space with you and sincerely recommend it.

Monart Studio: educations events and recreation at Taujėnai Manor – our discovery of this summer season. Be sure to save this place because it is an incredibly unique space where you can celebrate children’s birthdays, various celebrations, bachelorette parties, company events. Moreover, the host of this studio Monika leads wonderful educational activities, massages, sessions and trainings both for children and adults. But about everything from the beginning.
Although we had visited Taujėnai Manor and Taujėnai Manor events more than once, we truly did not know that in the very territory of the Manor the Monart studio is also located. Therefore, when we learned about this place, we definitely decided to visit it. And believe me – having arrived with the children to participate in several educational activities, we stayed here the whole day. The host of the studio Monika is an incredibly sincere, creative and artistic person. She impressed us so much with her sincerity and friendliness that we felt like visiting long-seen friends. Monika is not only the host and idea generator of this studio but also a professional masseuse, therapist.
Monika created and nurtures here a wonderful space that we sincerely recommend for birthdays, celebrations, sessions and any events.
Monart studio – for your events
Monart studio is located in the territory of Taujėnai Manor in a separate Manor building, the former Manor workers’ house. If you are looking for a cosy place for rest or a celebration with family or a group of friends, you can rent the Taujėnai Manor bath hall. The hall has an exceptionally large fireplace and a cosy room.
In the hall there is a kitchen, showers and a large fireplace. Outside you will find a pavilion, a grill, a playground for children. Nearby there is a pond and an outdoor hot tub for bathing. You can also visit the animal yard free of charge, where you will see alpacas, Cameroon goats, a donkey, a pony family, peacocks, an ostrich, fallow deer, pheasants, domestic and water birds.
The space is also convenient for organising small seminars and children’s birthdays. When ordering all Monart services, the visit to the Manor animal yard is included, so for children it is an incredibly fun activity.
Monart studio second-floor children’s space
On the second floor of Monart studio there is an exceptionally beautiful and artistically arranged room – a space for children’s birthdays. Monika herself created and decorated this space. We still find it strange how we did not know about this amazing place for children’s celebrations. This space looks like from a fairy tale and is perfect not only for celebrations but also for photoshoots. Photoshoots also take place in this space.
Educational activities and sessions
In Taujėnai Manor and Monart studio various entertainment sessions and educational activities are organised both for children and adults. We tried with the children an entertainment game in the Taujėnai Manor cellars and a therapeutic session during which we made an aromatic body scrub.

Entertainment game for children and adults
Treasure hunting in the Manor cellars – an engaging team game in which one player reads clues and the others try to solve them and find hidden treasures in the Manor. Each clue leads to another object or place, and the team members’ ingenuity, cooperation and quick reaction help to complete all tasks and discover the treasures hiding the secret.
Price: 15 EUR / person. Suitable for up to 23 people. Duration: 40 min.
Making individual perfume and herbal magic (Therapeutic session)
Making individual perfume – a therapeutic session for children aged 8–13, during which they will learn into which groups aromas are divided, get acquainted with the abundance of natural essential oils, learn about the effect of natural essential oils on human health. During therapeutic sessions children will create their own perfume using memory analysis and senses, get acquainted with the variety of aromas and learn to distinguish to which note group it belongs. They will also make corks and present them – learning not only creativity but also rhetoric and entrepreneurship.

Face massage training for children (Therapeutic session)
During the session, the children will learn relaxing massage techniques both with hands and massage tools and will enjoy the massage themselves.
In the second part – a calming foot bath and time for delicious tea from elegant cups.

Provence postcard making (Artistic session)
“Provence postcard making” – an artistic session during which children will learn to notice the differences and similarities between rural simplicity and manor elegance.
In the theoretical part, they get acquainted with the characteristic features of Provence style and the possibilities of using the materials. In the practical part, children create traditional Provence-style postcards and greeting-writing creativity.
The price includes a visit to the animal yard and feeding its inhabitants with the therapist Monika.

Silk scarf making (Artistic session)
Painting on silk stands out for its lightness and freedom. It is a relaxing, skill-free and creative activity. During the session, children will have the opportunity to learn about the subtleties of silk technique, prepare it for painting and, after creating a motif, transfer their ideas onto this delicate material.

Aromatic body scrub making (Therapeutic session)
Aromatic body scrub making – a session intended for boys and girls.
In the theoretical part, the structure of body skin, hygiene and the necessity of cleansing are reviewed. In the second part, children make a body scrub. After making the scrub, sauna procedures, relaxing tea drinking from an elegant tea set and foot baths await.

Excursion for children in Taujėnai Manor Park with therapist Monika
The head of “Monart”, therapist Monika, invites groups of children aged 7–13, consisting of 8–20 children, to visit Taujėnai Manor Park, the barn and the animal yard.
During the excursion, children will have the opportunity to walk in the Manor park, feed the animals in the animal yard. They will also visit the barn, where they will touch history and get acquainted with old objects. After the excursion, children will be able to have lunch.
Price: 25 EUR / person (park and animal yard visit, feeding of the animals and children’s meal included). Duration ~ 2.5 hours.
