Lumina Park 2025: a light sensation in Vilnius breaking visitor records

Lumina Park 2025: a light sensation in Vilnius is even more impressive and beautiful this year than ever before. This is clearly reflected in visitor numbers, as when we arrived at the park with our family, we could barely find a parking spot. Each season, Lumina light park attracts thousands of visitors, and in 2025 it is likely to break attendance records once again. Why is that? The answer lies not only in the impressive light sculptures, but also in the experiences that bring together art, technology, and emotion.

Lumina Park, lighting up the VU Botanical Garden, welcomes visitors again this year with a new theme and brand-new light installations. This season, the park invites visitors to travel through different eras, meet dinosaurs, encounter historical figures, and even take a glimpse into the world of the future.

This year, Lumina light park invites visitors to a 2-kilometer-long light trail, where you can see dinosaurs, pirates, and Julius Caesar. What makes the park especially enjoyable is the large number of installations that children can climb into, touch, and play with. These include interactive carriages, a light maze, and giant music players. Moreover, sculptures and certain park zones speak not only Lithuanian, but also English. Therefore, the park works very well for visits with guests from abroad.

We visit Lumina Park every year. However, this year it feels truly the most impressive. Modern visual solutions, new installations, and a magical journey through a world of light, sound, and images come together seamlessly. For this reason, many confidently call Lumina Park “the hit of this autumn and winter season.”

Wear comfortable shoes, as the route is long and includes sections with stone paths. For younger children, bring a stroller, as it will be very useful. The park also has a café, so you can grab a snack and warm up by the fire. Children can buy marshmallows on sticks and roast them over the fire. This area of the park feels especially cozy to us.
