When looking for a swimming pool to visit with kids in Lithuania, most people think of large water parks or hotel spas. However, we discovered a place that surprised us far more than the big pools, and we want to share it with you. Here, kids will definitely not run out of things to do, and the prices are pleasantly low. Although it’s not huge, this small but family-friendly pool became a real find. It offers warm water, a children’s area, water inflatables, and a space that’s comfortable for both kids and parents. If you’re searching for a fun and affordable way to spend time with children, this pool is truly worth your attention.
The Kupiškis swimming pool could easily be one of the most family-friendly pools in Lithuania in terms of value for money. Kupiškis swimming pool with kids is especially suitable for families looking for an inexpensive but high-quality option for water fun in Lithuania. Kupiškis swimming pool with kids in Lithuania: what will you find here?
Kupiškis swimming pool with kids in Lithuania is a modern yet compact space that truly takes into account the needs of families with children. There is a dedicated children’s area with a shallow pool for younger kids and water activities for older ones. Therefore, children of any age can play and stay active here. The Kupiškis pool is perfect for anyone looking for a fun pool with kids in Lithuania, but who wants to avoid large crowds and high prices. The atmosphere is definitely calmer than in water parks, so it’s especially comfortable for families with younger children.
Children will love the special kids’ pool with a fountain and toys – this is where we first brought Paulė. The water temperature is pleasantly warm, and the pool depth is safe even for the youngest. We especially liked that there’s a jacuzzi nearby and a heated bench for relaxing and warming up. The whole pool area is cozy, and the water is just as warm as in bigger pools. Paulė spent the entire two hours in the little kids’ pool and didn’t even need to use the sauna to warm up.
While Paulė enjoyed the kids’ pool, Motiejus spent time on the water inflatables in the 25-meter swimming pool. These inflatables are included in the entrance price – no extra fees. We loved that the pool offers not only the usual water fun, but also additional activities like water inflatables, which are especially fun for older children. By the way, there is also a lazy river. Still, the biggest surprise was the wave pool. Usually, these are only found in large water parks, not in town pools.
Why did this pool surprise us more than water parks?
First of all, the balance between price and quality. Although it’s not a huge water park, there are plenty of activities for both kids and adults: water inflatables, a wave pool, a lazy river, a jacuzzi, a kids’ pool with toys, three saunas, and a café. Everything is compact and cozy, and most importantly, it’s a safe environment for families.
Second, simplicity. You don’t need to plan far in advance or buy expensive tickets. This is a place where you can spontaneously decide to go and have quality time with your family. There is a family changing room, and you’ll find a changing table if you’re with the youngest children.
Our kids love not only water fun but also tasty food. Naturally, after swimming, they’re always hungry. We were delighted to find that the pizzeria at Kupiškis pool offers a wide choice of pizzas at very friendly prices. A family-sized pizza costs just 12 euros. The café is accessible both from inside and outside the pool. You can order food before leaving, and your meal will be ready by the time you’ve changed.
Because of the variety of activities, coziness, and compactness, this pool with kids in Lithuania is a great alternative to larger entertainment complexes.
Prices – is it really worth it?
One of the biggest advantages of this place is the prices. Compared to many water parks, a visit here costs significantly less, making it a great option for families. On a weekend, a two-hour visit for the kids and me cost 21 euros. You can find all the prices on the Kupiškis pool website.
If you’re looking for affordable pools in Lithuania, this place definitely makes the list. For a reasonable price, you get:
- a kids’ pool with toys;
- warm water and a cozy environment;
- water inflatables and a wave pool;
- saunas and jacuzzi as well as massage zones for parents.
