Kretinga with Children
The Gnome Village
The Gnome Village in Lithuania is an incredible place. The village is located at the countryside tourism homestead “Vienkiemis” in Padvariai village, Kretinga district, next to the outdoor restaurant area. In fact, the entire territory of this countryside homestead is impressive, filled with tiny gnome houses, sculptures, and beautifully decorated spaces.
Once you arrive and cross the monkey bridge, you enter an area full of miniature houses and instantly feel as if you have stepped into a real fairytale world. Children are welcomed by tiny gnome homes, a windmill, a little school, workshops, wooden pathways, and countless charming details that immediately captivated our kids. They ran around exploring the houses, checking every corner, and enjoying the playgrounds. The most delightful part is that inside the tiny houses you can also find little tables, chairs, and other items matching the theme of each house.
The whole area is designed so that little visitors feel as if they have discovered a secret gnome world. You must visit this place in Kretinga with children.
