Opened in 2013, Hotel GODA Druskininkai is a modern, cozy, and elegant 4-star hotel in the Druskininkai resort. It features a Scandinavian-style interior with natural tones and can accommodate up to 50 guests at a time.
The rooms include a comfortable bed, a work desk, and a refrigerator. The bathroom comes with all essential toiletries, as well as bathrobes and slippers – a pleasant touch that adds comfort.
We were also greeted with a bottle of berry-infused water on the table – it’s the little details like this that make a stay feel special.
Rooftop SPA terrace – true relaxation
One of the most memorable experiences is the rooftop SPA terrace. Cozy, quiet, and never crowded, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Watching the sunset while relaxing in the jacuzzi or enjoying the sauna feels like a true escape after an active day. The calm atmosphere makes it feel as if the SPA belongs just to you.
On the roof, you’ll also find outdoor exercise equipment, chess, and sun loungers. Nearby, there are two small saunas with a terrace view. I could easily imagine how magical it would feel to sit here during snowfall or a winter storm.
Cozy rooftop garden
The hotel has made great use of its rooftop space by creating not only a relaxing SPA area but also a lovely green garden – a peaceful oasis for guests. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy your morning coffee, read a book in the evening, or simply have a quiet chat.
For me, Hotel GODA is a perfect example of how small spaces can be transformed into inviting corners for rest and leisure.
A restaurant famous for its potato pancakes
One of the hotel’s biggest surprises is the Family Restaurant – small but very cozy, offering delicious dishes at friendly prices. The women working here are warm and welcoming, always ready to recommend something for you and your kids.
The highlight for us was the “potato pancake pot” – a hearty, creatively served dish that we’d confidently recommend even to those not staying at the hotel. It’s filling, unique, and full of flavor. If you’re visiting Druskininkai and looking for a tasty and affordable meal, head to the Family Restaurant at Hotel GODA and try the famous potato pancake pot! My husband said it took him back to his childhood – the taste reminded him of traditional Dzūkija-style pancakes.
The menu overall was a pleasant surprise – simple but fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. On weekdays from 12 p.m., daily lunch specials are available. The restaurant also features a kids’ corner and a small library – every detail here contributes to the cozy atmosphere.
