Łódź is one of the most family-friendly and interesting cities in Poland. Because of that, we always enjoy visiting this city. Moreover, we feel genuinely happy whenever a new attraction appears here.

In Łódź, we especially enjoy:

Hopa Lupa is located in the recently opened “Nowa Sukcesja” shopping center. It occupies an area of 20,000 m². The park sits on level -1 of the shopping center. Additionally, it blends into the entire space in a very interesting way. While walking on the first or second floors, you can see the attractions and the people enjoying them.

In our opinion, Hopa Lupa is an ideal stop when traveling with children. It works perfectly for resting and having fun on the way to Zakopane, the Polish mountains, or even further trips across Europe.

The park is truly large. It consists of three zones: the trampoline and climbing park, the Hopa Lupa City children’s zone, and the entertainment zone.

Hopa Lupa zones

Entry to the entertainment zone is free. However, you pay separately for each activity, such as arcade machines, bumper cars, mini karts, or VR attractions. There are also cafés in this area. Additionally, time in this zone is unlimited.

Entry to the other two zones requires a ticket. Moreover, you pay separately for each zone, so you can choose where you want to go. Each visit lasts 2 hours. Although this may seem short, we doubt we would have stayed longer. The children had more than enough impressions.

In the trampoline park, you will find impressive climbing walls, the largest indoor ropes course in Europe, interactive games, and ninja tracks. However, we did not enter this zone. Instead, we viewed it from above. In our opinion, it seemed more suitable for adults or older children. The attractions looked quite extreme. Honestly, I would personally hesitate to try them.

We chose Hopa Lupa City. This area suits younger children best. Moreover, it is incredibly large. Here, children will find various slides, ball pits, climbing structures, obstacle courses, a net park, and a car track. In addition, there are many interactive attractions, carousels, and huge building block areas.

You will also find very realistic themed play zones, such as a beauty salon, police station, library, shop, veterinary clinic, and others.

There are two impressive slides. Additionally, there is a separate area for toddlers, filled with activities.

We also noticed Hopa Lupa Island, although we did not visit it. This zone features a real water river with boats. Moreover, it includes a large sand play area for children.

Practical tips

Because the park is inside a shopping center, arriving by car is very convenient. Parking is free for 3 hours. Moreover, the same shopping center offers many stores and a food court.

The park is genuinely designed for families with children. For example, there are small toilets, low sinks, and baby rooms.

We recommend arriving early in the morning. Otherwise, you will encounter large crowds. We were among the first visitors that day. Because of that, we avoided the busiest hours. However, as time passed, the number of people quickly increased.

In our opinion, the park is truly impressive. Therefore, we do not recommend visiting all zones at once. Children may become overwhelmed and tired.

Bring, or be prepared to purchase, non-slip socks on-site.

One drawback is the pricing policy. You must pay for all family members. All accompanying adults also need tickets. The same price applies to everyone from the age of two. However, children under two enter for free.
