The Elektrėnai Lagoon beach is excellent for families with children because of its well-maintained infrastructure and sandy, fairly shallow shore for safe splashing. Moreover, at this beach, your children will find a very fun and, most importantly, free water slide! This is truly one of our favorite swimming spots during the summer season. As soon as the weather becomes suitable for swimming, we plan trips here even from Vilnius. As far as we know, we are not the only ones who ignore the longer distance and plan to spend a day here with family. However, before going, we recommend checking the water quality. Sometimes swimming is not recommended due to increased levels.

Free water slide at Širvintos city beach
You can also find a water slide worth your attention at Širvintos city beach. The beach area looks very well maintained, and the territory fully suits families with children. This is not only because of the water slide but also due to the excellent playground located right next to it. Nearby, you will also find water trampolines. Additionally, after crossing the bridge, there are even more playgrounds. It is convenient that there is easy access by car and a public toilet. This is especially important, as you will easily spend more than a few hours in such a place.

Free water slide at Ignalina city beach
At Ignalina city beach, you will find one of the most fun slides, which not only children will want to try. The slide is not only curved but also quite long, so children who enjoy a bit of excitement will definitely enjoy it. The area here also looks very well maintained, just as expected. In fact, it is great to see how people constantly care for and maintain such places, as families visit them with children. The shore is sandy, and nearby you will also find a picnic area, a wide and large pier, and wooden swings. Since you will definitely walk barefoot here, make sure to also try the nearby barefoot wellness path.

Free water slide at Visaginas lake beach
The Visaginas lake beach is very spacious and features a large bridge, changing cabins, and a free water slide. The location itself lies among the forest. However, it is not far from the city and has excellent access both by car and by bicycle. Right next to it, there is a paved road that continues further into the forest. There is also a small playground and a volleyball area. Although Visaginas is not a big city, locals are truly lucky to have such a great place, especially with a free water slide!
