Hotel Žiogelis – a modern retreat in Rokiškis district, located in Sartai Regional Park right on the shore of one of Lithuania’s most beautiful lakes. Surrounded by pine forests and nature, it’s the perfect place for a peaceful getaway, a weekend with family, or a lakeside spa break. Sartai Observation Tower is nearby, and just a few kilometers away is the town of Rokiškis, where you can visit Rokiškis Manor, restaurants, and the town center.

Žiogelis features a large spa and pool zone that our family especially enjoyed. There’s a big pool, three different saunas, and relaxation areas. The pool water is very warm, so swimming is pleasant for both kids and adults. You can visit the pool zone even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Drinks and snacks can also be ordered directly to the pool area.
Restaurant
The hotel has a restaurant, and in summer, an outdoor terrace opens up with a view of Lake Sartai. You can enjoy breakfast, dinner, or snacks after spa treatments and swimming.
Activities for kids and families
Žiogelis is perfectly suited for family relaxation. For example, outdoors, you’ll find a large children’s playground, plenty of space for walks, and a peaceful time in nature. Meanwhile, inside, there’s a kids’ playroom, and in the hotel basement, you can play billiards, table tennis, or mini golf. Not surprisingly, our kids’ favorite features were the pool and the playroom.
Active recreation by Lake Sartai
During the warm season, you can rent kayaks, boats, or other water equipment and explore Lake Sartai. The lakeshore is ideal for swimming, and the entire area is perfect for peaceful lakeside relaxation in Lithuania.
