This winter, Taujėnai Manor will host the event “Eternal History on Ice 2026”. It is an ice sculpture and light festival. The festival will start on December 20 and will run until March 1, 2026. Visitors will find a themed exhibition, a live sculpture creation process, light installations, and additional activities for families.
Visitors will be able to view themed ice exhibitions. They will also watch parts of the creative process live. In addition, they can enjoy light installations that highlight the details of the ice sculptures. The unique ice sculpture and art festival at Taujėnai Manor will take place in the outdoor areas of the manor. However, visitors will experience not only visual impressions. There will also be a space where you can rest, warm up, and spend time calmly with family or friends. Meanwhile, younger visitors will also receive a surprise.

Eternal History on Ice 2026
The festival exhibition consists of two parts. Both parts invite visitors to experience the world of ice art up close.
During the first stage, from December 20, 2025 to January 16, 2026, visitors will see the Nativity of Bethlehem emerge from crystal-clear ice. It tells the story of the Holy Family. Moreover, visitors will be able to observe the creative process itself. Ice masters will live-form the second exhibition, “The Last Supper.” It will depict the famous gathering of Jesus and the apostles. Therefore, this stage offers a unique opportunity to see how much precision and professionalism ice sculpture art requires.
During the second stage, from January 17, 2026 to March 1, 2026, the exhibitions will be fully completed. Visitors will see both the Nativity of Bethlehem and “The Last Supper.” Here, guests will admire the eternal history captured in ice. In addition, impressive light installations will enhance the sculptures.
Additional activities for families
Are you visiting the festival with young travelers? Then they definitely will not get bored. From December 20 to January 16, children will enjoy an installation featuring the beloved fairy-tale character Kakė Makė. The installation will operate on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 to 19:00.
If you are traveling with a larger group, you can rent a sauna and a sauna hall with a large fireplace at Taujėnai Manor. Registration is available for groups only. Moreover, during the festival period, when booking sauna facilities, you must also purchase a festival ticket.
