This is a truly special place in Tenerife that comes to life before Christmas and attracts both locals and tourists every year. The house features thousands of lights and a wide variety of festive decorations. In addition, the surroundings often include figures and statues. Because of this, people call it the “most Christmassy house in the Canary Islands” (“La casa más navideña de Canarias”).
Did you know about the most Christmassy house in Tenerife, a unique place that has existed for 30 years? People often discover it through word of mouth. However, once you finally see it in person, you immediately understand why this house has become a legend. We visited it too. And honestly, we wondered why we had not known about it earlier. It truly feels magical.

A unique place you must see
A house that has lived with Christmas for 30 years
The story of this Christmas house began three decades ago as a family tradition. Each year, the owners decorated their home more and more. Over time, simple decorations turned into a world full of lights and Christmas symbols. As the years passed, the number of visitors continued to grow.
Today, it is no longer just a decorated yard. Instead, it has become a Christmas symbol for the local community and the entire island. People arrive with children, grandparents, and friends. Some visit every year, while others come for the first time. However, almost everyone leaves with the same smile.
What makes this house so special?
First of all, it stands out because of its scale and details. The house disappears into thousands of lights, figures, Christmas characters, and festive scenes. Here, you can see large decorations, carefully created compositions, and small details that invite a closer look.
However, the most important thing is not the numbers or the size. Instead, it is the feeling this place creates. It brings back memories of childhood Christmases.
When and how to visit
The most Christmassy house in Tenerife usually lights up in December and welcomes visitors until the end of the holiday season. For the best experience, visit after dark, when all the decorations show their full magic.
Opening hours: 6:30 PM–11:00 PM
Admission is free, however, visitors can support the creators of this initiative with a donation.
Location: Valle de Guerra (Tenerife), Carretera del Boquerón, 189. This is a small village in northern Tenerife, where this house becomes a true festive attraction every winter.
It is important to remember that this is a private home in a residential area. Therefore, visitors should behave respectfully. Do not park cars randomly, avoid disturbing residents, and stay cautious on the busy street. You can park near El Rinconcito de Pin, which is located just a few hundred meters from the house, near the roundabout.
Most people spend from several minutes up to half an hour at the house. This is usually enough time to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere.
After 30 years, this house still amazes visitors. Perhaps that is exactly why it feels so special. Every December, it reminds us that Christmas does not start with gifts. Instead, it starts with light and time spent together.
