There are probably no children who would say “no” to an amusement park, especially when it includes rides, shows, favorite fairy tale characters, and even water attractions. When all of this comes together in one place, it becomes a true highlight for a family holiday.

Every family has that one trip that leaves a lasting impression on children. Very often, it is a visit to a large amusement park. From nearby Poland to sunny Spain.

Adrenaline-filled travel guide: the best amusement parks in Europe
Energylandia park
Poland is a very popular destination for “Travel 4 kids” trips. Although there are many amusement and water parks in Poland, Energylandia park truly stands out. It impressed both adults and children with its wide variety of attractions and an amazing water park.

Energylandia is a huge park divided into 7 zones. From Bajkolandia, loved by the youngest children, to the Extreme Zone for true adrenaline lovers, everyone will find something here. You will also find a family zone and impressive roller coasters such as Zadra and Hyperion.
There are so many attractions that even one day may feel too short. In addition, Energylandia has a large separate water park, which we also included in our article “Top water parks in Europe: where to have fun with children.”
You do not need a separate ticket for the water park, as it is included in the Energylandia park ticket. We highly recommend buying tickets in advance through a trusted and recommended booking system, where you can often find good deals and discounts.
For our tips on the best time to visit and what food options the park offers, read more in our detailed experience “Energylandia park with children”.
Isla Magica
Isla Magica amusement park in Seville is one of the most enjoyable places we visited with children while on holiday in Seville. The park operates from April to the end of October. So if you plan a trip during the warm season, it is worth including it in your itinerary.
The park is divided into several themed zones, each representing different historical or geographical eras. Therefore, everyone will find something here, from the youngest children (from 90 cm) to teenagers and adults who enjoy extreme rides.
Here you will find not only rides but also shows, water attractions, relaxation areas, cafes, and everything needed for a comfortable day with children.
Our experience showed that it is best to arrive in the morning and stay until the evening. At midday, the park gets the busiest, while in the evening the queues become shorter. In addition, the attractions look even more impressive in the evening light.
We found the cheapest and most convenient tickets in our partners’ system – after purchasing, we entered the park immediately without queues. In summer, the nearby water park Agua Magica also operates. In our partners’ system, you can also purchase a combined ticket for both parks.
Disneyland
Disneyland is a themed amusement park based on Disney stories and films, and it hardly needs an introduction. It is one of those places that children dream about, and often parents’ childhood dreams come true here as well.
You will see Mickey Mouse, greet Cinderella, or meet Star Wars characters. However, this is not just a walk through a fairy tale world, as there are many attractions worth spending more than one day exploring.
If you plan to visit both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, it is best to dedicate one day to each. Disneyland Park offers a classic fairy tale world with a castle, rides, parades, and famous characters. Meanwhile, Walt Disney Studios focuses more on movie-making, action attractions, and experiences for adrenaline lovers.
Children will enjoy gentle rides, themed playgrounds, and fun shows. At the same time, older visitors will find thrilling roller coasters, 4D attractions, interactive adventures, and even the chance to feel like they are inside a movie scene.
Tickets are easy to buy, and you can avoid queues by purchasing them in advance.
