Auto Moto Park in Lithuania is located in the Trakai district, on a private rally territory. Education is a key part of the park’s philosophy – here, both children and adults learn to understand vehicle control and the principles of safe and sporty driving, all together with professional instructors. During our visit, we tried several different experiences: our two boys, Motiejus and Oskaras, got behind the wheel themselves, and as two families from “Traveling with Kids,” we enjoyed an impressive Monster Bus ride. We also got to try the park’s upcoming new feature – motocross bikes for children.
Auto Moto Park in Lithuania – a place where entertainment has educational value
This is probably the most important thing to emphasize about this place. Auto Moto Park is not just an extreme amusement park.
Here, our children did not just receive car keys and were told, “drive.” First, there was an introduction, explanations, theory, an instructor’s lesson, and only then – practice. The children learned how to control a car, what to pay attention to, how to behave on the track, and why safety is the most important part of driving.
Officially, the park presents children’s and youth driving lessons as education: instructors introduce basic car control, vehicle features, and rally sports. After the theoretical part, the child drives independently. Education is suitable from age 10, but not only age matters – a child’s ability to engage responsibly is essential.
Our boys drove a real car for the first time
Motiejus and Oskaras tried the driving education for kids. This was not a toy car or a go-kart, but a real car. A Subaru Impreza – with sports seats and seatbelts – was fully prepared for safe sports driving. The car is specially prepared for kids, with an automatic gearbox, and an instructor sits beside them throughout the drive. Before getting behind the wheel, the children receive a short and clear theory lesson. Only then comes what they are most excited about – real driving.
The giant Monster Bus or “Monster Truck” – an experience for the whole family or a group of friends
The symbols of Auto Moto Park, which are simply impossible to miss, are the Monster Bus and the Monster Truck.
We tried the Monster Bus. It is an SUV based on a Chevrolet Chevy Van G30 Beauville minivan, measuring 5.3 meters long and 3.5 meters high. The whole family or a group of friends can ride in it. Its massive wheels – as tall as a person – make the biggest impression! The Monster Bus was created in Lithuania – at Auto Moto Park.
Auto Moto Park offers a unique opportunity to drive the Monster Bus yourself, bringing along friends or the whole family. This is a completely different experience than a regular car – a special track, hills, rough terrain, and the feeling of sitting in a vehicle with wheels nearly as tall as a person.
You can also have fun with the Monster Truck. This SUV is based on a Dodge pickup, measuring 6.2 meters in length and nearly 4 meters in height.
Importantly, the Monster Truck and Bus are not just for adults. Families with children can ride as passengers, and if you are not comfortable driving yourself, experienced instructors can give you a ride.
We also tried the upcoming new attraction – motocross bikes for children
This attraction may not yet appear on the park’s official list of offerings. During our visit, we had the chance to try Auto Moto Park’s upcoming new feature – motocross bikes for children. This is not just a ride, but a lesson in controlling another type of vehicle, understanding how it works, maintaining balance, and behaving safely.
Auto Moto Park for children’s birthdays and other celebrations
Another interesting direction for families – children’s birthdays and other personal celebrations.
The park allows you to organize an active event with cars and driving activities. A birthday party can include various attractions – Monster Truck, sporty rally rides or passenger experiences, as well as skill improvement with a rally simulator.
For the celebration itself, the park has a separate “AMP House” space.
