Karolis Dineika Wellness Park
Karolis Dineika Wellness Park in Druskininkai will impress you with its beauty and restored unique therapies that use air, water, and sunlight. The wellness park was established about 100 years ago, when the “sun, air, and movement” therapy method was introduced. Guests at that time strengthened their health at the Ratnyčėlė cascades, exercised on the lawns, sunbathed, and played tennis. After World War II, the park expanded to 20 hectares, and under Karolis Dineika’s guidance, solariums, an acupressure pool, vertical baths, and an aero-hydro-ionotherapy pavilion were built. Today, the renovated park has revived these historical therapies, available to both residents and visitors.
Karolis Dineika Wellness Park is an oasis where you can read in a gazebo, admire flowerbeds, relax in a sauna, and refresh in cascading baths. There, you can also enjoy sunbathing with herbal tea in the aero-ionotherapy pavilion, exercise on outdoor equipment, or simply stroll the park paths. Young visitors will not be bored. There’s a playground, and teens can play volleyball or table tennis.
The park is also accessible for people with mobility disabilities, with special swings available. Entrance to Karolis Dineika Wellness Park is free, except for extra services in the aero-ion therapy pavilion, cascading baths, and sauna complex, which have symbolic fees.

Vijūnėlė Park by Lake Druskonis
Vijūnėlė Park is a great relaxation spot around Druskonis and Vijūnėlė ponds. Renovated in 2011, the park attracts both locals and resort guests with its beauty and cozy atmosphere. In particular, one of the most impressive sights can be seen in early spring, when a sea of over 200,000 blooming daffodils transforms the park.
Another interesting feature of the park is the path between Lake Druskonis and Vijūnėlė Pond. It was once favored by honorary citizen Dr. Bronislovas Lubys and now bears his name. Along this route, visitors can enjoy Japanese cherry trees – sakuras – as well as romantic lighting that makes the area especially charming in the evening. Sculpture Park “Musical Square”
Musical Square (Muzikinis skveras) is a playful sculpture exhibition located next to the M. K. Čiurlionis Art School. In particular, seven sculptures in the park represent the notes of the musical scale. Moreover, the “Relax” sculpture by Artūras Burneika was recognized as the best public art sculpture in Lithuania in 2009.

A. Česnulis Sculpture and Recreation Park
We’ve visited Druskininkai many times, but this time we discovered something new. Just a few kilometers from the resort, there is a remarkable place that is not yet well known. A. Česnulis Park in Druskininkai is not your typical sculpture park. Among the trees, sculptures move, play music, and come to life, making the whole park feel like a separate world created by the artist. The park blends Lithuanian folklore, history, nature, and the fantasy of folk artist and woodcarver Antanas Česnulis. Here you’ll meet various characters and see huge wooden compositions.
It’s not enough to just pass by the wooden sculptures and look. Some artworks can be set in motion, others make sounds or play music, as if they come alive before your eyes. That’s why the park is so interesting for families with children. Kids are not just observers – they’re curious to get closer, find out what happens, and look for surprises.

Forest Museum “Girios aidas” park
Another great family attraction is the Forest Museum “Girios aidas.” In summer, it’s especially fun, as there is a large park with a unique decorative plant trail. This trail feels like a separate part of the museum. You’ll find a variety of plants, some of them unusual, all labeled for easy learning. It is a great way for kids to discover plant diversity.
Inside the museum, kids can get up close to forest animals, insects, birds, and plants. There are interactive games and nature sounds to help identify birds. Recreation Park (Poilsio parkas, address: T. Kosciuškos St.) is a peaceful spot in Druskininkai, right by the Nemunas River and pine forests. Some paths are forest trails leading closer to the river, and there are many steep slopes with panoramic views of the Nemunas and Meilės Island. It’s the perfect place for quiet relaxation or cycling.
