Basakojis Adventure Park in the Pasvalys district is a new leisure space for families in Lithuania. Here you will find tree-climbing courses, a beach, areas for both children and adults, cabins for celebrations, a sauna, a hot tub, and new attractions being developed. Because we love climbing parks and active recreation areas, we visited Basakojis with our kids as soon as it opened. Although the park is brand new and still under construction, it can already claim a spot among the best climbing parks in Lithuania. In the future, it will surely become one of the top adventure parks in the country.

Basakojis Adventure Park in Pasvalys district welcomes visitors to a constantly growing leisure area surrounded by nature. The owners aim to create a park where visitors of all ages – from the youngest children to teenagers and adults – can have a great time.
After our visit, we discovered that Basakojis Adventure Park takes a different approach to development than most other adventure parks. You will want to spend the whole day here – climbing in the trees, relaxing on the beach, watching your kids play, enjoying nature, and taking a walk. The park area is beautiful and well-maintained, with forest and lots of shade. Motiejus especially liked the climbing courses and the zipline over the pond. He said it was one of the most exciting zipline tracks he has tried in Lithuania. Although the courses are for children from 120 cm, Paulė could try the training course. She loved it. There are also a few trampolines for children in the park.
The park is constantly expanding, so new spaces and attractions will open soon. Already, you can try climbing tracks of various difficulty, suitable for younger children and older visitors alike. However, this is only part of the park’s concept. A lot of attention is given to relaxation areas, the beach, family leisure, and the opportunity to spend time in nature.
Practical Information
You can buy ice cream at the park and, in the future, there will be a café. You can also bring your own snacks and have a picnic.
After climbing in the trees, you can relax on the beach, where there are loungers. The pond is very clean and shallow, perfect for kids to swim in. The park has very clean and tidy toilets, not bio-toilets. Showers are being installed – for us, it is a big advantage to be able to wash after swimming or a day at the beach.
Very soon, you will be able to rent two cabins for events or celebrations in the park. The cabins have large terraces, a sauna, and a hot tub. This will definitely be a great place for parties or events.
