We can’t imagine a family seaside trip without visiting Dino Park. If your destination is Klaipėda with children or you’re heading to the coast for a holiday, Dino Park is a must-visit. In fact, we’d say it’s worth the trip on its own, since the park delights both children and adults.
It’s fantastic that almost every weekend, Dino Park organizes special events with animators and a full program.
In this vast park, you’ll find more than 50 life-sized dinosaurs, including pterodactyls, spinosaurus, brachiosaurus, vulcanodont, and many more. This year, you’ll discover plenty of new dinosaurs, so even if you visited last year, it’s worth coming back.
Activities with children at Dino Park
Right at the entrance, you’ll find attractions – 360-degree spinning cars, a train, a 5D cinema, a pirate ship, a mirror maze, a carousel, a playground, and a space where kids can ride bikes.
A little further, across the stream, you’ll find an exciting treetop obstacle course, a music area, and a mini zoo with rabbits, goats, and llamas that you can feed and pet. This year, the treetop course has been completely updated with lots of new climbing elements.
Next to the stream, you’ll also find a gnome village, an archery range, and pedal boats. If you need a break, you can relax in a hammock. Interestingly, the pedal boats here aren’t ordinary – they’re large, colorful cars or giant swans.
But that’s not all! In the final zone of the park, there are mini pedal boats and another playground. Also, there are trampolines and a “bat hill” where you can slide down on a big tube. There’s also a summer café, so you can sit back and enjoy a coffee while watching your kids play. Best of all, the park offers activities for children of all ages – so everyone will find something fun to do.
In summer, there’s plenty of water fun, so don’t forget to bring towels and swimsuits. The park’s water trampolines are a favorite summer activity for kids.
Dino Park + overnight stay at the manor + SPA
From our experience, we can absolutely recommend this as a great idea for a family weekend or even a short break that gives plenty of joy for kids and relaxation for parents.
We almost always visit Dino Park with an overnight stay, choosing the cozy Radailiai Manor Hotel next to the park. The best part is that Radailiai Manor has one of the best family-friendly pools in Lithuania. Even though the spa area isn’t huge, it’s very cozy, and the pool water is always warm.
This setup is also super convenient if you’re traveling with both older kids and a baby. While the older kids explore the dinosaurs or ride the cars, you can easily take care of the baby in your apartment. And in the evening, the whole family can relax in the spa with saunas, pools, and a whirlpool.
This option is perfect all year round. Even at the start or end of the season, you’ll have plenty to do all day, and later you can warm up and unwind after a fun day in the park.
Radailiai Manor also features a wonderful restaurant. We think it is one of the most beautiful summer terraces by the sea, complete with a children’s playground. This year, the playground next to the terrace was completely renovated. New climbing structures, shaded by trees, were added – kids of all ages will love them.
