People often talk about the Tichė Water House pool in Šiauliai on social media, and it attracts a lot of attention. That’s why, as soon as the pools opened, we decided to visit and see if it really lives up to the hype: Are there enough activities for kids? Do the prices match the quality? Is it worth coming from other cities?
The Tichė Water House pool and SPA complex is located at Latvių g. 60, Šiauliai. The complex is very modern. Honestly, it could easily be the pool of a five-star hotel. We were truly impressed by the entire complex—from the modern changing rooms and café to the pool area itself.
What You Will Find at Tichė Water House
Here you will find a three-lane swimming pool, a leisure pool with massage jets and cascades, two large whirlpool tubs, three saunas, an ice-cold plunge pool, and a relaxation room with heated loungers. The water is pleasantly warm, just like the pool environment. There is also a separate area for birthday parties. In addition, you will find a gym here.
However, for us, the biggest advantage of this pool is how well it is adapted for families. There is a children’s pool with a slide and a fountain path. Another huge plus is that the whirlpool tubs are next to the pool area, so it is very convenient to watch your children play from there.
You will also find a slide with lights for older children. Families will appreciate the shared changing rooms, which make things very convenient. We especially noticed the quality hair dryers, shoehorns, and spacious lockers for your belongings. The staff keeps the pool very clean. During our visit, they cleaned the shower area and checked the lockers in the changing rooms.
There is a café both inside the pool area and in the lobby. The menu is excellent, and the prices are family-friendly, which is a big advantage for our kids and us. There is a large parking lot next to the pool. Although it may seem like a small thing, Paulė is always sad when she does not get a locker bracelet. However, at Tichė Water House, children receive bracelets, and they are specially designed for little ones.

We are very happy that such a great pool has opened in Šiauliai, bringing joy to both locals and visitors. It is wonderful to see places like this designed for families in Lithuanian cities. We would be incredibly happy if such a pool existed in Vilnius, as we would gladly visit it every week.
