Access to the area is very convenient. A parking lot stands nearby. Cycling paths also connect Klaipėda and Karklė. Forest paths lead visitors directly to the wooden observation deck on the Dutchman’s Hat cliff.

Meškos galva (Bear’s head) dune viewpoint
Bear’s heads dune viewpoint stands near Pervalka in the Curonian Spit. From this place visitors see the Curonian Lagoon, the Baltic Sea, and even the panorama of Klaipėda city.
Walking paths lead to the viewpoint. In addition, a cycling path nearby connects Pervalka with other settlements in Neringa. From the Meškos galvos dune viewpoint you will see a calm yet impressive landscape of the Curonian Spit. The view becomes especially beautiful during sunset.

Palanga church tower
The Palanga church tower belongs to the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The tower reaches 76 meters and stands among the tallest church towers in Lithuania.
Although it is not exactly an observation deck, the tower is visible from far away. Because of this, many people consider it a symbol of Palanga.

Dauginčiai cliff
Dauginčiai cliff stands in the bends of the Minija River in the Kretinga district. People also call this place Lithuanian Switzerland. The landscape here reminds visitors of Switzerland.
The cliff reaches 22 meters in height and 44 meters in width. It is an impressive natural place that looks beautiful in every season.

Kalnalis observation tower
Kalnalis observation tower stands on Kalnalis hill in Salantai Regional Park. The tower rises 15 meters above the ground.

Nida observation tower “Highlight”
Nida observation tower “Highlight” is a unique tower about 10 meters high. It stands near the Nida lighthouse and was built in 2016.
Unlike most observation towers, visitors climb this one using ladders instead of stairs. The tower has three levels. The first level has swings. The second level includes a small amphitheater. The third level serves as the observation deck with wide views.

Dyburiai cliff
Dyburių cliff stands in the Kretinga district near the village of Dyburiai. It is one of the most impressive cliffs in the Minija River valley. The height of the cliff reaches 33 meters.
From this high place visitors see a wide panorama of the Minija River bends and the surrounding natural landscape.
In 2005 the cliff became a protected geological natural heritage site. The place has important geological value. The cliff reveals rock layers from different time periods. These layers help scientists understand how the landscape formed and how natural processes shaped it over thousands of years.

Parnidis dune
Parnidis dune is one of the most famous places in the Nida resort. It is also one of the highest dunes in Europe. The dune rises 52 meters above sea level.

Parnidis dune is also known for its sun clock. This place is the only location in Lithuania suitable for showing accurate local time.

Observation deck on Avikalnis
The observation deck on Avikalnis stands in the Curonian Spit National Park. From this place visitors see wide natural landscapes. The view includes the Nagliai nature reserve, the Avikalnis dune complex, and the Dead Dunes.
Old tree nurseries also grow in this area. Some of them reach about 230 years in age. Because of this they add a special character to the landscape.
Avikalnis stands between Juodkrantė and the Nagliai nature reserve. Visitors reach it easily by car while driving from Klaipėda to Nida. The location lies around the 23rd kilometer of the road.
The hill received its name because of its shape. When seen from the Curonian Lagoon, its outline resembles the head of a sheep.
