Barcelona Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in Europe and is home to more than 11,000 marine animals. The aquarium features various exhibits and interactive areas throughout the space, so children will definitely find it interesting.
This is not just an aquarium, but also a place full of activities and entertainment. You will find playground areas, a cinema, and a fast-food café. Workshops for children also take place here. During our visit, children made pin badges, and the activity was included in the ticket price.
If you visit this aquarium during a layover in Barcelona, you can easily reach it from the airport by public transport. You can also leave backpacks in the storage lockers inside the aquarium, so you do not have to carry everything with you.
An incredibly fun activity, available for an additional fee of 4 EUR per bottle, is feeding the large carp with baby bottles.
